This study was done by Sparks Companies Inc. for Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development. The final copy was released in 2004. The purpose of this study was to take a detailed and critical look at the western Canadian barley industry in view of recent changes, as well as anticipated trends and changes yet to come. The study looks at both feed barley and malt barley industries.
